This instructional class is for owners of the listed models who purchased their machine from Mel's Sewing & Fabric Center. If you did not purchase your machine from us, please call the store for more information. Included in this hands-on class will be BERNINA terminology, features & functions, navigating your machine using its touch screen, knobs, and buttons. Threads, needles, and accessories will be discussed, and proper threading & bobbin winding will be shown. Basic sewing samples will be completed including securing options, total stitch control, buttonholes, and decorative stitching using functions and memory, and more. Optional accessories such as the BSR and Walking Foot will also be shown. Machine maintenance, cleaning, oiling, and basic troubleshooting will also be covered.

Join Creative Sewing Club "Finishers Race" for lots of sewing fun. This club will meet on the even months of the year: February, April, June, August, and October from 10am to 4pm. This will give you plenty of time to finish your projects in a supportive environment. Club members will make a variety of sewing projects from bags to home decor projects and everything in between. Students will learn finishing tips and tricks for a professional looking finished product. This club is designed for anyone who owns a sewing machine from entry level to top of the line. All levels of sewers are welcome.
