We will make a total of at least three blocks

*Batting – Large size = 1½ yds, Small size = 1 yd

*Polymesh stabilizer, stabilizer to fit the hoop

Optional wool batting

Small Blocks

1/3 yard – Background

Fat Quarter: letter fabric, fabric 1 (black), fabric 2 (purple),    Fabric 3 (green),

fabric 4 (white)

Fat Quarter or Scraps: Fabric 5 (Grey/Silver), Pumpkin Fabrics (Select 2)

1/3 yard: Border Fabric

2/3 yard: Backing Fabric

¼ yard binding

Large Blocks

1/2 yard: Background

¼ yard or Fat Quarter: letter fabric, fabric 1 (black), fabric 2 (purple), Fabric 3 (green),

fabric 4 (white)

Fat Quarter or Scraps: Fabric 5 (Grey/Silver), Pumpkin Fabrics (Select 2)

Thread colors:

**Superior thread: Vanish Water Soluble-Extra

* Isacord:

Black, Dark orange and light orange to match pumpkins, Dark green and light green to match leaves and Frankenstein, white, purple, and silver.

*OESD Sparkle Vinyl (optional – I did use some and it gives your design more personality):

        Black, Orange, White, Purple

**Kingstar gold metallic thread – I used for the buckle on boots.

**Glow in the dark thread could be fun.

HOOPS:

BERNINA machines:

        8” blocks will use the maxi hoop

        Large borders will use the maxi hoop

        5” blocks will use the large hoop

Babylock machines

        5” blocks will use the 5” x 7” hoop

        8” blocks will use the 9 ½” x 9 ½”

        Small borders will use 6” x 10” hoop

 Prep Work before class:

Instructions will be emailed to you prior to class, designs will be uploaded to your usb stick in class.

Print out all instructions for project (these will be emailed to you)

Cut all fabric required class (with all fabric cut, we might get to make more blocks)

Instructions for all blocks: I made a notebook with page protectors with all instructions. I recommend doing this to stay organized.
