Pumpkin Patch - Anaheim

This is probably one of my favorite designs because it's fun, but also elegant, and I love pumpkins. The wallhanging pattern has both orange and white pumpkins.

The Pumpkin Patch pattern can be used as a wall hanging or table topper.

 The finished size is 22 ½” W x 22 ½” D.

Supply List:

Pattern – Pumpkin Patch by Wildlife Designs Alaska, Dana Michelle **

Fabric –

             1/4 yd.  Medium Orange* 

             1/4 yd.  Dark Orange*

             1/3 yd.  Light Green*

             1/8 yd.  Dark Green*

             1/8 yd.  Off White*

             1/8 yd.  Tan*

             2/3 yd.  Background & Binding*

             1 yd.      Border print & Backing*

 1 ½ yd. Seam a Steam Lite* or Fusible Webbing*

 3/4 yd. Shape Flex*

 Thread* to match fabrics. (can use embroidery thread if you already have the color)

 Sharp Needles 75/11*

 20C or 20D Presser foot* (open toe foot for other machines)

Iron and Ironing mat.

Instructions of what to do Before Class:

Cut out background and border and assembled.

Background 14 ½” x 16”

Side Borders cut TWO -   3 1/2" x 14 1/2"

Top Border cut ONE –       3 1/2" x 22”

Bottom Border cut ONE – 5” x 22”

Stitch sides first, then attach top and bottom.

Apply shape flex to entire back.

 Trace all pattern pieces on to Steam a Seam

Cut fabric to size needed to iron on to Steam a Seam (BE SURE TO USE TEMPLATE WHICH IS ALREADY MIRROR IMAGE – DO NOT FLIP!!)

After all pieces are on Steam a Seam, cut them all out.

The entire class will be about attaching and stitching all the pieces.
