Laura Heine Sewing Scissor- Tustin

One of Laura Heine’s newest collage patterns, “Sewing Scissors”, is a fun addition to your sewing room décor. This pattern uses both Laura’s overlay and painterly techniques. It is a great project for those new to collage, and a quicker project for experienced collage students. As a Certified Laura Heine teacher, I have put together a kit in red, blue, black, and green that has a little bit of a retro vibe. Kits will be available for purchase the day of class for $35 paid to the teacher. Students can also source their own fabrics to make this project uniquely theirs. Class will cover prepping your fabric for the collage, cutting out decorative motifs, constructing the scissors and background of the collage, and finishing the project by quilting and either binding or mounting will be discussed.

Please read the supply list carefully and only bring the recommended supplies.

***Please note that most students will not start quilting their project in class. Most students will just work on their collage all day. You may not need your machine in class. ***
