Better Not Pout Applique - Tustin

Nancy Halvorsen’s “Better Not Pout” book has a great assortment of machine appliqued Christmas projects for your sewing enjoyment. If you have not tried machine applique yet, it is a fun and easy method to learn. You have the option of potholders, mini quilts, pillows or even stockings to hang on your tree.  The potholder can be completed in our class. This is a good project to practice machine applique and using a towel as the backing and background is a new fun technique.  The bird mini-quilt fits perfectly in our OESD pillow blanks and with the #18 foot, sewing on the buttons by machine is oh so easy. The mini quilts would also make a fun addition to your holiday décor. Join me for a jolly day of sewing where we will learn a few new tricks and tips. It’s your choice which project you make!
