Tell Me a Story Christmas Block Swap (2 sessions) - Anaheim

Foundation paper piecing is a fun and easy way to get perfectly sewn blocks time after time. Join in on this fun swap as we learn foundation paper piecing and make a Christmas project. The Tell Me a Story block is a new and interesting way to look at your fabric. Each block tells a different Christmas story. Week 1 we will learn about the Tell Me A Story Block, the swap rules, and make 2 blocks in class that will be the start of our project. There is a $10 kit fee per student for all of week 1’s supplies. You can choose to make a pillow, small throw, wall hanging or table topper. Homework will be making 2 blocks for each of your fellow classmates that you bring back with you week 2 when we will swap blocks and work on completing our projects. This swap will be Christmas/Winter themed. This class is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to foundation paper piece or experienced quilters looking for some holiday fun.

Sewing machine in good working order

Edge foot or Clear foot or zigzag foot

50 wt cotton thread in a light color*

80/12 Microtex needles*

cutting mat/rotary cutter*

6”x 12” ruler*

Iron and pressing mat

Elmer’s glue stick
