BERNINA Foot Class ~ Tustin

Many sewists look at award-winning quilts and see beautiful and precise free-motion stitching. But when they sit down and stitch, it looks nothing like they have seen other quilters do. It’s almost guaranteed that when other quilters tried it for the first time, their stitching was not award-winning. It does take a bit of practice and you have to get through the messy stage before you get to the award-winning part. Join me to learn the basics of free motion stitching so you can move on to award-winning techniques such as free-motion quilting, monogramming, needle sketching, bobbinwork and more.

 Machine and Sewing Supplies:

  • Bring your sewing machine, power cord, foot control and accessories, 1 bobbin
  • Basic sewing tools including scissors, pins and/or clips, and fabric marker
  • Optional: Rotary cutter, ruler, cutting mat (up to size 12” x 18”)

BERNINA Presser Feet

Bring any or all of the following presser feet to class. Note: You do not need all of the feet to take the class. Bring what you have, but don’t be surprised if you find a new favorite or two to add to your collection! We’ll discuss all of these presser feet and you can decide which ones you want to explore in class.
